Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God.”~ Psa.3:2
Of all the wicked allegations against a saint, I believe none is so soul shattering, so exceedingly cruel, yet at the same time so effective as, “There is no help for him in God.” This was the claim of those ungodly observers at the Cross.
If satanic powers can convince you God is no longer your helper, then you will sink into a state of hopelessness, which will be followed by a life of haplessness! This characterizes the wicked ones of the world, but never should be true of a child of God.
I found scores of references in the scriptures such as: “help me,” “help us,” “the Lord is my helper”, etc. Just because we cannot see our Helper doesn’t mean He is not the instigator of the help. Remember, when you can’t see Him, you can track Him!
I just finished the book of Esther. It is the only book in the Bible where God is not mentioned. But you can see His helpful workings in His children’s lives throughout the book. If you go behind the scenes you will find God, the Helper in all of Israel’s troubles. And such is true of us today, that is, His Elect !

I have talked to a few folks who abandoned God when tragedy hit. I am still unclear as to why folks put Him on top of the blame list. If one understands we are living in a fallen world then how can we possibly blame God. Even so, He gave us life in the first place. He is the Potter and we are the clay. This gives me an idea. 🤔
