“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”~ 2 Cor. 3:18
No sincere person can spend time in Christ’s presence and remained unchanged.
In the movie, “As Good As It Gets,” Jack Nicholson’s character makes a profound statement that every Christian can relate to when applying it to our Lord. He says, “You make me want to be a better man.” Genuinely serious men and women, who have a real relationship with Christ, testify to the fact that He makes them want to be a better person.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if those whom we come in contact with could go away saying this about us? Like the lifeless form of the man who revived after touching the bones of Elisha, so may it be with all who come into contact with us. They go away changed, with a new life. All because lives crossed.
The greatest thing that can be said of you and me at the end of our lives, “He, or she, made me want to be a better person; to be more Christlike.”

Thank you so much for your "scribblings" this morning, Dr. Sandlin. Today's words touched me deeply because Christ does make me want to be a better person; I do forget that.
