C.S. Lewis wrote, “If we let ourselves, we shall always be waiting for some distraction or other to end before we can really get down to our work. The only people who achieve much are those who want knowledge so badly that they seek it while the conditions are still unfavorable. Favorable conditions never come.”
It is futile to rid oneself from any and all distractions in the work of the Lord. The devil is not only in the details, as they say, but also in the trivials. You know, “little foxes that spoil the vines.”
Satan is ever-present to thwart God’s grand scheme for your life. You may not be able to cancel out these frustrating times; but by the Holy Spirit’s help, you can control them.
