“Shall not the Judge [God] of all the earth do right?”~ Gen. 18:25
I remember old Dr. Bob Jones Sr. cupping his hand over his mouth and shouting, “Do right if the stars fall.” It’s always right to do right. Doing right is always in vogue, for a child of God!
It is my personal belief that there are few, if any, occasions in life in which a Christian does not know the right thing to do. But this is not so with the pagan world: “For they know not to do right, saith the LORD.”
Doing right is second nature to a Christian with character. The three Hebrew children did not have to sit down and discuss their situation; they just automatically did right!
Saints with character will do the right thing, no matter the personal cost. “He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not,”~ Psa. 15:4. Jesus did this in the garden when asked if He were the Christ. “I am He,” was His reply.
Convictions must have character to see them through. Convictions without character produce conflict.

Not always easy and sometimes scary but pleasing God is the goal. I have not received Lessons 2 or 3 as of yet so I'm hoping you are well, Dr. Sandlin. Take care and thank you...
