Beloved in the Lord,
It is 11:57 p.m. West Coast time. I am sitting in my late wife's old fashioned rocker with my computer before me. It just turned midnight, making it the 4th of January. Yesterday the 3rd I made my move to my son, Andrew and my daughter-in-law Sharon’s home.
After weeks of planning and waiting, it has finally come to pass. I need not tell you how much it has taken out of the Old Disciple who is heading toward his ninetieth year mark of life.
I have spent all day unpacking the few things I brought. They had a beautiful little room prepared for me. How they both have showered me with love and affection. YOU CAN’T BEAT FAMILY!
The old Puritan said all the places we stay in life are Inns, not Home. If this is so, then I am staying at my final Inn, before going Home. And I must say, “He saved the best till last.” How comfortable and pleasant these two Innkeepers have made it for this traveler.
Thank you all for your prayers on my behalf. I owe you big time.
Please continue to pray our mobile home will sell quickly. It is a 1981 model, but in fairly good condition. All the proceeds will go to God’s people and His work. I will receive nothing.
I pray you who have faithfully supported us financially, through these many long years, will continue to do so. I want to stay independent as long as possible — it’s important for a man. Although my son does not expect it, I need it to be so. I want to pay my way, I’m out of the old school, as you have gathered.

Yes! And thanks for your prayers. I didn't realize I carried such a load.
