“But I know, that ‘even now’, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.”~ Jn. 11:22
One may find fault with Martha’s service for God, even her choice of words in expressing things to Him; but she had no difficulty in her belief in the enabling power of her Lord, in hopeless situations. And at the end of the day this is what really counts!
“Even now.” At this late date, when any chance of change is gone, when all is decomposing (fading away), when all the professionals express themselves with the same word, “Impossible!” Martha said she believed Christ was able, even at such a time.
Her faith in this fact was set in concrete, so to speak. There was nothing wrong with her belief, it was her timing that was off. Like us, her spiritual clock was fast. You can’t hurry our Lord who was never in a hurry. “…he that believeth shall not make haste”~ Isa. 28:16.
With Jesus it was always, “ALL IN GOOD TIME!”

God's timing is perfect and His timing is not ours. As frustrating as this gets at times, it does help to remember He is in charge.
I so much needed to be reminded. Even after 20 years of salvation I have grown weary in well doing. My trials have overwhelmed me as I've even asked my savior "where are you "?. Im reminded its in his time though I knew how quickly we forget.
