Dear Praying Friend,
My daughter Leah left today for her home in Somerset, Ky. We had a wonderful time. My son Andrew has taken care of all the business concerning his dad’s Homegoing; just a couple of loose ends to tie up. “I have set my house in order.”
It is now time to get back to thinking about living! He is not the God of the dead, but the God of living. Therefore we intend to get back to business as usual, as the saying goes. Too much about death is to live one’s life in a graveyard. One can get morbid.
One day at a time, says our Master. “ Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life…Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. “
There are different professional opinions on the survival rate of those with Congestive Heart Failure; The authors report that the 5-year survival rate for people under 65 years of age was around 79%, while the rate was about 50% for those 75 and over.
No matter for me, or any of you, “My times are in thy hand…”~ Psa. 31:15 Only He has the power of life and death.
Unless a dire emergency or my son contacting you we will let this subject drop.
Brethren, continue to pray daily for us. As I do for you.

And thank God for a Lady like you, who loves her blessed Lord. I know HE is precious to you, Marie.
I am so thankful you were able to spend time with Leah. She is so precious. Be assured you are in our prayers daily as you wait for our gracious Lord and Saviour. God bless you brother Sandlin. I thank God for you and your testimony.
