“Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.”~ Jn. 2:5
The best advice any saint could ever receive is Mary’s to these servants at the wedding in Cana of Galilee.
Do not try to reason with Him nor to fully understand; don’t think about it, just do it! Then stand back and see Him turn things that are common into the uncommon. As the little plaque above my bed says, “Jesus Changes Everything.”
Matthew Henry penned, “Those that expect Christ's favours must with an implicit obedience observe His orders."
John Gill adds, “Punctually observe and obey his orders in every circumstance."
Those commercial fishermen who were very familiar with both sea and fish found this to be true. After toiling all night and catching nothing, in the morning Jesus shows up. He tells them what to do; and upon obeying Him, we’re told, “…they were not able to draw it [the net] for the multitude of fishes.”
Throughout the Gospels you will find whoever followed this holy woman’s (Mary's) advice was never disappointed.
It would do us all well to continually remember, “TO OBEY IS BETTER!”

We see in the wonderful book of Esther that faithful people change outcomes. As with Jesus’ mother, do what He says, even though you have no understanding.
