Dear Readers,
I spoke to my son Andrew concerning the following appeal and he believes it to be both proper and scriptural. I seek his wise council on most all important issues. Old people can play the fool, I have found, in their closing years.
When I had my heart-attack, a few years back, it was necessary to strip veins out of both legs for my five bypasses. This has left me with very poor circulation as well as much discomfort. Even to getting up every hour or two throughout the night. Because of cramps, pain, and numbness. They seem to be getting worse.
I have the second smallest and cheapest Chevrolet they put out. I bought it new six years ago. God has been good to me, I still live alone, and am able to function on my own, as lifes daily duties require. I am able to put out my daily articles, still. But as to driving, it has become almost impossible with the cramped up space to drive with my legs in this condition.
Therefore, I am in the process of trading in my car for another. I cannot afford a new one, but I do need a bigger, and more roomy one. I have a precious Christian brother, who is a car salesman, helping me. I have saved through the years for my funeral expense, but something keeps coming up.
If God has blessed any of you financially and would like to help, it would be greatly appreciated. The more I can put down, as you know, the smaller the payments. I’ll be looking at a SUV the same year (2015), But more leg room and sits higher.
I live at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mt.’s. There is a lot of driving involved in shopping, etc.
