“And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.”~ Jn. 20:7
Had you been dead for three days, then raised, would you have taken the time to fold your grave clothes and napkin that was about your head? This most certainly shows Jesus is concerned with the little things of life.
It’s those little things that keep life going or cause it to come to a standstill. Take care of the little things and you will have less worry with those few big things. Once, while driving a preacher friend to lunch, I came to realize this truth. He was also a mechanic by trade. As we were traveling along, he asked me, “What is that sound?” He had me pull over and after looking under the hood, he did something. Then closed the hood, got in the car and said, “It will be all right now. But it could have caused you big trouble down the road.”
The Bible tells us that it is, “…the little foxes, that spoil the vines.” It is those little sins left unattended that grow into giant ones. A small dry-rot will spread, making a bigger area to deal with. An entire house can be destroyed if the small area is not taken care of immediately.
A PERSON WITH CHARACTER IS CONCERNED WITH ALL PHASES OF LIFE — SMALL AND LARGE, THE INSIGNIFICANT AS WELL AS THE SIGNIFICANT!
