“And even to your old age I am He; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.~ Is. 46:4
When my mother was up in years she was visiting with us. As I helped her out of the car she said to me, "Son, will you help me? I don't think I can make it on my own.” Upon these words, I immediately took her 98-pound frame in my arms and carried her into the house. As we entered the door, she had that young-girlish, giddy sound to her voice as young ladies used to when they were embarrassingly pleased. I also had that boyish laugh, much like a young fellow would who felt he had achieved something good.

It is said of Simeon, in Luke chapter two, when He saw the babe Christ, “Then took he Him up in his arms...” Don’t you think in Simeon's old age God said to him, “My turn.”
