“Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death.” Isa. 53:12
A glorious day it is indeed when a saint of God turns his spiritual cup upside down, pouring it all out all for God! The testimony of that small remnant who have is that they’ve never regretted it. Hannah of old is a good example, “… but [I] have poured out my soul before the LORD,” 1Sam.1:15. He blesses her life five-fold, plus Samuel, 1 Sam. 2:21.
The world and religion describes the above as a wasted life. Any and all things poured out on Jesus is considered by them as wasted, like Mary’s alabaster box. Paul tells us he had poured out his life for Christ, the result being the power of God. Of this you can be sure: whenever God finds an emptied vessel for His glory He fills it with Himself!
