THOUGHTS ON TOMORROW

“Take therefore no thought for the morrow...” ~ Matt. 6:34 

This statement was made by the greatest authority on life that has ever or will ever exist. In fact He is "The Life," who better to explain it? Wise is the man or woman who heeds His Words!

As of today, I have 365 “morrows” before me. Jesus said I’m not to worry about any of them—not health, business, family, world conditions, finances, children, apparel, etc. It is a waste of time, energy, and effort to do so. It has been proven that most of the things that cause us undue concern never come to pass.

Fear of the future paralyzes in the present. It causes me to be unproductive in every area of life. Worry shows not just a lack of faith, it goes much deeper. It reveals a wicked heart of unbelief. How can we be anxious about what lies ahead, and at the same time say we believe Romans 8:28 is true in every aspect of our lives.

If our future is as bright as the promises of God, then we need to be laying hold of these “exceeding great and precious promises.”
