“Good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” ~ Rom.12:2
If it’s good, then we shouldn’t complain about it. If it’s acceptable, why would we reject it? And if it’s perfect, there is no improving on it. The will of God includes all of life, not a part of it.
Jesus said, “I delight to do thy will O God.” That included the Cross with its associated sufferings as well as enjoying a meal with His friend Lazarus and his two sisters. Our Lord went to the Cross with a song of acceptance upon His lips. He always accepted whatever God appointed.
The will of God has a companion that goes everywhere it goes...known by the name of Grace.

Dear Lady: Thanks so much for your encouraging comments. They were a real, "Lifter-Up." Also the song was so great a blessing.

Dearest Brother Richard,
What incrediblly edifying devotions are pouring out of my elder brother in his time of affliction! All praise and glory to our Lord for your amazing testimony of His unfailing goodness and grace. May the Lord's grace continue to be showered upon you! May He richly bless you and all of us through you my brother. I think of the wonderful hymn, "I'll Praise My Maker While I've Breath": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaDcheNOBvQ May this be so for all of us!!! Thank you for modeling for us how to prepare to meet our Maker. Continued prayers for the Lord's perfect peace to be upon you.
