When Grace Bleeds
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy…” ~ Heb. 4:16
You will never find mercy by doing meritorious acts; it is only to be found at the throne of God’s grace. No matter where you cut it, grace always bleeds mercy. To work for mercy forfeits it. Mercy is getting less than we deserve, grace is getting more than we deserve.
God’s Mercy is described as: great, rich, manifold, plenteous, abundant, sure, everlasting, tender, high as the heaven, filling the earth, over all His works, and, is His delight. The most wonderful thing about it all is that His Mercies, “… are new every morning.”
We have a Divine invitation to come each new day for new mercies.
