I think what Jesus said would fit here, "These ought ye have done, and not to leave the other undone."
I would make much of the present and its importance. Showing them the reason it is so important to live lives becoming to Him here, is because of eternity!
Brother, which is more important for a pastor? Thee Sweet By and By messages or the Now and Now Brethern?
