The Scriptures record twenty-five exact references to, “The God of Jacob,” as well as many more close, although not exact, references such as, “The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” God wasn’t ashamed to be called, “Jacob’s God,” in spite of Jacob’s sins, failures, and shortcomings.
