Recently on YouTube, I listened to a song that blessed my heart. The title is, “Deep Waters,” by a singing group named, Project Ten Men. Scriptures began flooding my mind as I listened. The following article is a result of this precious song. Any and all Spirit-filled believers, I’m sure, would agree with me that one of the main characteristics of Christendom today is shallowness of soul. Jesus spoke of this sort in the story of the Seed and the Sower.
I went to listen to the song and felt encouraged. Yes, the shallowness of faith is detrimental to the soul and the church as a collective body of Christ. It's very sad to see this widespread phenomenon. But, God is faithful even when we are not. He knows how to lead His people into deep waters.
